Beth Stevens, MS, LPC, NCC
Hi, Iām Beth,
a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years experience in community mental health as well as private practice. I am certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). I hold additional certifications in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), evidence based treatments that focus on trauma and parenting.
I work with children and adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, parenting issues, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I also see children struggling with other behavioral issues at home and/or school.
My theoretical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy using techniques that have a Christian emphasis. I feel integrating faith into the therapy process helps me work collaboratively with others on setting goals.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. My passion is fostering resilience and helping my clients lead fulfilling lives.
Hello from Kimberly,
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I love my job! I enjoy meeting new people and helping them find their best lives through a variety of paths. I have worked with teens and adults for many years and believe it is a privilege to be invited into the lives of clients and to witness the transformation healing can bring.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which promotes thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as a driving force in mental health.
If you are experiencing sadness, depression, unresolved grief, anxiety, fear, or any other thoughts or feelings that have you concerned, I may be able to help. I am also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapy modalities. I have learned that many issues start with trauma and therefor I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which are both evidenced based treatments for trauma.
It takes courage to begin this journey but you will not take it alone. Let me help!
